You and me are not as different as we may think

shining bright like a christmas tree,

rising up like the morning sun and its golden lights beam.

its a escape for most you see,

its a hidden world of words redeeming me.

you and me, turn to the poetry, when we wish to live out a dream.

it's laid out smoother than any old love scene.

poetry enables us to be ourselves and let loose every emotion we dwell.

it helps us all afraid to speak up stay mentally well.

its trapped words and emotions that we could never yell.

and whats swell,

is it can be felt by all

we are not the only ones being trapped up against a wall.

it can be strong within you and me, we are not so different as though we may think.
