You and me little brother

I may be stuck, but at least I have you.

I never fret when you’re here by my side.

People like you come so few.

Here we are near the ocean tide

With you and me stuck here on this lonely land,

We can laugh and make a fort.

Here we go wandering hand in hand.

My little brother and I are here to make port.

I’ll take care of you, if you keep me smiling.

We’ll climb trees and swing from vines.

The sand and waves keep piling.

We’ll make this island ours and chase the horizon lines.

When you get scared we’ll look to the stars.

The bright natural lights pouring down.

Together we won’t need to miss those noisy cars.

You and me little brother we’ll turn this into our very own town.

We may be stuck for weeks or days or even years.

But together we will make our own adventures upon these rocks

So my child dry your tears.

These boulders and tree limbs will be our building blocks.

Sleep now and listen to the wild night air.

We’ll rule this island just like kings and queens.

We both will be there when we fall, to show how much we care.

Sleep now so when morning rises we both will become wild feans.
