You and myself

I know I ain’t been myself lately,

I’ve been feeling like someone else lately,

I’m still a sinner I’m losin’ myself I need a sign,

I need space I needed love, I needed time,

And I never understood how you could treat me so,

heartless until I realized that you just  needed mine,

that’s what I mean by loving you never helps cuz I,

just can’t decide between loving you or myself,

I just pushed away cuz I drew a line and you crossed it,

crossing out my x’s and x’in out all my losses cuz I know,

what it’s like to lose somebody you love,

and what it’s like to lose yourself to someone above
