You Are

I have seen sun rises and sunsets like the eyes of God winking upon me. I have seen waterfalls like the brilliance of your joy-filled tears splashing newness upon this ever-constant stream I know as life. I have seen the expressions of both sadness and the ever forgotten smile that appears from behind those sorrow filled eyes, and I have been so moved by that changing of state of being that my new self in comparison would be said to be a separation as far as the east is from the west. And I would be ok with that, as long as I knew that I could come back to that memory of you I had once upon a time. For I have been humbled by the beauty of the flowers, and yet when I try to compare their beauty to yours I can think of no words. It is just, it is Just. That I have no words simply because the words that would be needed to compare anything to you have not and never will be so. You are the stirring that causes the wind to rush forth and you are the pebble that caused the smallest ripples upon the water that become the powerful waves in the raging seas. You are the reason that the birds fly, and the reason that men wish to do the same, because at great heights we all feel as though we are closer to you. And whether you are simply the comfort of believing that one day we will be safe in a loving pair of arms or if you truly are something great, I already know. For I know that you are the reason. You are the reason for the sunrise. You are the reason for life. And you are the reason that the faces of the sorrowful become smiles. You are the one who humbles. And you are the one who causes the stirrings that move. You Are.
