As You Are

As a woman, you can’t be afraid to cry. Do not allow yourself to find shame or humility in your tears. Let them flow abundantly and effortlessly. Let the tears of your sadness water the seeds to the happiness of your future.

As a woman, know that loving yourself first does not make you vain or selfish. It makes you indestructible. When you become truly indestructible you will find yourself letting go of what is not healthy. Whether it is people, jobs, beliefs, habits or anything else that may hold you back from being happy. There is nothing more beautiful than an indestructible woman.

As a woman, you must allow your lips to profess your emotions in ways that are not polluted. Find ways to express your feelings without hate.

As a woman, there will be times when one stabs you in your back and then act like they are the ones bleeding. Do not get mad, do not get even. Just do better. Much better.  Become so engulfed in yourself and your success that others become threatened. You will find that amazing things happen when you distance yourself from negativity.

As a woman, realize that you will find yourself putting others in a win-win situation and they may still lose. Do not blame yourself. It is not your fault that they don’t appreciate a prize when they have it.

As a woman, learn to appreciate the things that are molding you into a better, stronger woman even when it hurts. When you find yourself destroyed take it as an opportunity to better yourself. To fix yourself because in this process you will figure out whom you really are and what you are able to endure.

As a mother, do not be afraid to protect your family by any means necessary.

As a mother, allow love to lie in your bed. Allow curiosity to sit at the dinner table. Allow determination to roam the halls of your home.

As a mother, do not hide your mistakes from your children. Share them as a warning of how easy it is to make bad decisions.

As a mother, wrap your children in your support. Tell them they can do anything they put their minds to. Tell them the sky is not the limit, for there are footprints on the moon.

As a mother, enjoy every moment of your children’s lives. You never know if it’ll be your last.

As a mother, blanket them with your presence to warm all their insecurities.

As a mother, you are a queen.

Strike down any form of weapon to protect your kingdom. Let the lord fill you with the burning desire to do what you know is right and what makes you happy. Though sometimes those decisions may be contradicting. Leave those who don’t have your best interest in mind in the past. They do not have a place in your future. Trust the timing of your life. Understand that everything happens for a reason and you did not come this far only to come this far.

As a queen, you deserve to be looked at in awe, given random flowers, have long talks and even longer hugs.

You are a woman.

You are indestructible.

You are a mother.

You are a queen.

You are loved.
