You are the Bible to

You are the Bible to my heart.

When I hold your sleek leather cover in my hands

I always feel an urge to write.

About what? I never know but I do know

whatever I write comes from somewhere deep and unexplainable.

Even now I feel that my words are encrypted and only I understand.

My book of poetry is truly the story of my life wrapped in a couple of stanzas.

It is my outlet when I want to step away from the world.

The pages in my Bible to my heart might be stained with tears along with

my true self that I seek daily.

In my poems no word is planned but is thought and immedialty written.

To my surprise when I finish a poem I discover something new.

You could say I have a Bible of epiphanies.
