you are lovely

you are lovely.

the shape of your face;

your mouth as it forms

a smile, as if you

remembered a

joke from before.

your laugh is bright

and instills in me

an innate need to

join in your laughter

and also feel

your happiness

and treat it as

my own happiness.

because despite my

crooked mind and heart,

you remind me

it's all alright

just by being.

you are so lovely

and with the image

of your lovely face,

this night i'll sleep

a restful sleep.
