You Are Mine

You are my big, warm sweater in winter,

You are my flowers in the spring,

You are my sweet iced tea in summer,

You are my colorful leaves in the fall.

You are my Valentine,

You are my Halloween treat,

You are my Christmas present,

You are my New Year’s kiss.

You are my pastel sunsets,

You are my rainbows after a storm,

You are my paints on a canvas,

You are my sprinkles on ice cream.

You are my frosting on a cake,

You are my bubbles to a bath,

You are my honey in my tea,

You are my cherry on top.

You are my good book,

You are my long road trip,

You are my favorite song,

You are my cozy blanket.

You are my eleven, eleven,

You are my birthday wishes,

You are my shooting stars,

You are my fallen eyelashes.

You are my starry nights,

You are my all-night talks,

You are my midnight giggles,

You are my morning kisses.

You are my “Best thing that ever happened,”

You are my, “Can’t live without.”

You are my one and only,

You are my forever and for always.

You are my best friend,

You are my story teller,

You are my co-pilot,

You are my dance partner.

You are my better half,

You are my number one,

You are my player two,

You are my true love.
