You Are Mine

I am not the girl of your dreams

I am the girl in the back of your dreams

You deny my existence

You ignore that I have always been in your mind.

In your mind I am last to everything

last because that is where you think I deserve to be.

But I actually deserve to be on top of Mount Everest

In my dreams I am a queen

Everyone in my dreams notices me.

But will I be a queen in your mind, in your dreams?

Or when I disappear from your life will I disappear from your mind and dreams?

I am a queen in my mind, but every queen needs a king.

You are mine.
