You are more

You are

                                               Ugly.

Lose weight. Lose weight

or no one will

                                            love me.

The other girls are

                                           beautiful.

Perfect body

                                         and a perfect face

but not you.

More makeup! More makeup?

                                         Im sorry.

You

have to be thin,

Beautiful? Beautiful?

Yes.

                                      Yes!

You are more

than what society tells me is beautiful.

You are beautiful

I am starting to believe that

good.

I am an 18 year old musician, with a love for poetry. I write poetry and lyrics to help me fully comprehend what is going on in the world and in my life. I write poetry about the things the world is intimidated to speak up about. I strive to change the world through my written words and I hope my words speak to all.

This is a poem written as two people talking to eachother. This is a representaion of someones thoughts fighting against themselves.
