You are My Enemy
You are the enemy of love and light
You are the enemy of trust
You take the form of all you hate
You take advantage of lust.
I am hurting in ways I can't tell
I am afraid of your touch
I don't know if this will ever end
I don't know if too much is too much.
You tell me that I am the one for you
You tell me you need me to last
You never let me leave your side
You never let go of your past.
I fall in your gold-flaked tales of love
I fail to see through the lies
I want you to be happy as much as I can
But I'm not responsible for you.
