You Are Never Alone

Life doesn’t seem worth living

So don’t even attempt to tell me that

There are people that are supportive and are doing okay

If you take a closer look at the people who surround you

Everyone seems to be falling apart, yet apparently,

“Our world is still a good place”:

But this is all a lie.

It seems that there is no hope for our generation

Since people are depressed and anxious more than ever.

Overwhelmed with feeling helpless, and hopeless.

Convinced we aren’t good enough,

Because it is true

They say it gets better and that there is always hope

But these people are wrong

We fear to feel happy because everyone knows it doesn’t last

Why do we feel this way?

(Now read from bottom to top)
