You Are Not Alone

Rotten souls

Destroyed bones

No happiness at the bottom of the bottle

Alcohol doesn't end the pain

Only temporarily pleasing the brain.

A false reality,

An unstable mentality,

A buzz you can't maintain,

A lesson to gain.

Too many already dead,

Can't you get this idea through your head?

Drunk driving can end a life

Paying a high price.

For the rest of your life cursed,

With this terrible disease,

For those suffering Alcohol Addiction

You have to believe.

Though you may struggle throughout the day

You have to find a way to end this deadly way,

Think back on who you used to be,

When you were young, clean and free

It's your only life, your declining health,

Please just try to save yourself.

Being an alcoholic is a special case,

You always feel alone in a crowded place.

Everyone that loves you is waiting back home,

Please remeber you are not alone.
