You are not Excused

What you don’t understand

Is that I thought you were a man

turns out you were just a boy

just like a dog you craved a new toy

Now believe me, I get it

I really do

been there done that too

but there is a difference

between me and you

I took the blame

I know it was me

they didn’t deserve my shame

how cruel could you be?

I listened to your reasoning

wondering how could this be happening?

You made me feel worthless

thinking what did I do to deserve this?

But in the end I saw the truth

Blaming me was your way of coping

but deep inside, we both know

it was all you.
