You Are The Storm

It is during nights like this that my mind wanders.

I wander. I wonder.

I was loved
I am more sure of that reality than I am of my own existence

Though I feel inclined to believe
I am but one more bleeding heart
In the crashing waves
Of your sea of names

You are the storm

O mind
O beautiful creativity
O wild imagination

What a team are we?

What terrible power I give to you
How vulnerable I am with you
How prone you are to destroy me
And run away with my life

Please do

I turn
I fall
I wake
I rise
I sleep

Once more
