You are the Sun
You are the slowly rising sun that breaks through the morning mist making the visibility grow stronger. You are the reds that begin to bleed into the deepest blues, and you are the clouds that soak up the extra colors. You are the water droplets on the waking flowers, they reveal their pedals; holding the brightest colors, for this tired sky. You are the paintbrush that has carefully captured this picture, and the brush strokes that lay against this water colored canvas. You are in the way the wind blows. You dance between the trees, tickling the leaves. You spin and You twirl. Gliding and falling.
You are the cold winter river that leads into the sea. You are the idea of mystery because You keep me intrigued.
You are in every word that is spoken. Your letters wrap around me attempting to keep me warm. They lure me in, chaining me to Your soul. They spend an electric shiver through my body, patiently kissing my spine.
You are the dullest moon, providing the lonely street with light. You are bright enough to allow me to see this face. It’s shaped like an oval, but stops halfway to change its state. The jaw forms an even line; it slants from one corner of this smile. Down until it reaches the mouth. It runs a straight line; long enough to ascend again, complimenting the other side.
A perfect match.
Yet, imperfections sprinkle this body that lies quietly before me. A little brown spot accents the upper lip, allowing it to be unique. As my eyes wonder downward, I can’t help, but, to notice more, pressed upon the neck and chest.
Yet, I can’t find anything wrong with what You are. You are all around me. You live in everything that is beautiful.
