you are a work of art

art is beautiful,

fancied by many,

loved, adored, pleasing

with imperfections almost invisible.

hence you paint your face

hoping that you’ll be

just as beautiful

just as fancied

just as loved

as art

little do you know that

your face is not the canvas

it’s the art itself.
