You ask me

You ask me and I tell you,

You look at me like I should be crying,

How am I supposed to cry when

All you'll see is a helpless victim?

I've cried enough puddles,

Then you splash it back in my face,

No more thunderstorms here please,

Will a lawyer take this case?

You're afraid to ask for details,

You don't want me to relive it,

But I've already started, so why not finish,

You solemnly swear that you won't act different,

Whilst I promise myself next time I'll zip it,

You've noticed I've left his name out,

What was that I can't hear you?

"Im always here for you?" Now that I doubt

I tell you in my little faith,

But you say you can't let me leave,

I tell you about the reaper,

But you call the police a while later,

The police know where to find me,

There's no where I can go,

But I've left you free to walk,

I have no option do not talk.
