You ask me why

You ask me why I write

But I don't think I can give you a straight answer

Asking why I write is like asking why does a bird fly

Or asking why a dog barks or the cat meows

The answer is they do those things because they have to

The same goes for why I write

I do it because I have to

deep in my bones

the fiber of my being

Something just tells me what to write and when to write

It comes as natural as eating or sleeping

It comes just as natural as talking

because that is what my writing is

talking on paper

saying on paper what I can't always saying out loud

So there is my answer

Hope it is understood
