let me in you say tell me why you do this you say my mouth opens the sounds that come out fall to the ground just a tad too dark for your ears maybe somewhere a whale hears i pay you to listen as i would pay a blind man to rate my painting the light is too loud i say and you close the blinds everywhere i say and you open them but slowly let me in you say tell me why you do this you say i remove my shirt grab the lamp ignore the bright pain direct the handheld sun onto my torso do you see the scars i say do you see the pain i say you stare in shock impatience confusion and say no you asked i answered now watch
