You Be You

You be you

because no one else can

for the sun

rises

everyday

and the moon

glows

not you nor i can do

that

your cracked smile

your own thoughts

let that consume

you

neverletthemtell you

who

to

be

flower you are

and a flower is its own

in purity grace fluorescent

bloom and growth

no tree dances like it

but the wind will blow and

try to move you

you must not

because you are

whatever a you is meant to be

You be not we
