You broke me

You broke me

when there were only fractions

of me left

You broke me

when I was too young

to be whole

You broke me

when I did everything

to deserve

that you broke me

when I was too old to bear it

You broke me

from miles distance

You broke me

with a word

and with none

You broke me

when you took back all of me

that was yours.
