You call it a Class, We call it a Lifestyle

Today class wasn’t as bad
I tried my hardest to give all that I had
but when you’re built like me
It’s hard to not look around and see
What everyone else has that you don’t,
It makes you feel like you can’t compete

Thick and Beautiful with a full chest of breast
While the other girls I can barely see their chest
Legs so tone, their bodies look so neat
How the heck weren’t they gonna pick up on the technique quicker than me

Turn, and Slide, and Up, and Leap
I soon as I try to turn it defeats me
I stumble on my landing and now I can hear myself laughing at me

But then i hear Get up and try again
Sweet heart, it’s only just the start
Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to be over
It’s about learning how to dance through it

Even if you feel like you’re falling apart

Years gone by, and I don’t mean to brag
but I have more confidence in myself that i ever had
because dance isn’t just a class, it molds you
into a better you and builds you for life

Showing you that you can’t just put
a knife into everything that doesn’t feel right
you have to try and maybe you’ll succeed
probably better than the girl who can look down and actually see her feet

So Yeah, that’s what Dance taught me
It taught me to keep pushing no matter what
cause you might just, succeed
