You Call Me a Daughter But You Were Never a Father
As a kid, all you did was scream, tweak and drink
you would make my momma cry when you lied and was there for everyone but us
you call me a daughter but you were never a father...
you'd leave me, but always keep my siblings, but I'm your daughter too... right?
you say you love all your kids, but yet I was the one you always left behind.
you call me a daughter but you were never a father
if you were a father then where were you while your daughter lied in a hospital bed being told she would never walk again?
well, of course, you were in another woman's bed because you call me a daughter but you were never a father
all you did was hurt us and bring us pain yet try to bask in my accomplishments every time I advance
but that's because you began to realize you never left the past
we've moved forward you've stayed the same now you cant call me a daughter because you finally realized
you were never a father...
