You Can't

You Can't

You Can't

You Can't

It is whispered in your ear

To put you down

To make you feel weak

Make you feel helpless, worthless, like you cannot do anything for yourself

It doesn't

Breath it in

Consume it

It feeds your determination

Your weakness become strengths

It causes fire to lick at the inside of your body

Charring and hardening as it burns

It fills you up with an uncontrollable fury

But you can control it

Feeding the fire everytime you prove someone wrong

A person who told you, you can't

Gaining knowledge, gaining power

Gaining independence

You are your strength

You can make yourself strong
