You can't run

bend the bruises

mend the stains,

go ahead and break the chains,

wait outside the wrong track door,

hear the voices, not good for

anymore.

break the bones,

like all souls show,

spread your clipped wings and flow,

your soul to keep,

the truth will seep

into bloodied wounds

ashes consumed,

we are all doomed.

*whack* *whack* *whack*

blood on the floor

can't cry no more

can't escape

life takes shape

wrong side of the tracks

can't come back

it's over now

cut me some slack.
