you cant write a poem about makeup

makeup rings to my heart in the afternoon.

I walk across my room to my dresser, and see the mess of makeup i have.

I scream dramatically.

Going to my family party,

very crowded, to loud music.

All my family eating,

the funny moment conversations,

to sweet, spicy food.

When i finally get to the kitchen,

my mom is serving food

her smile big as a watermelon,

her face white as a snow flake.

Out of nowhere i understand beauty.

We know were both confident about eachother.
