You Don't Control Me
Dear Society,
I hate you
Plain and simple
You ostracize the best of people
You make them feel like they are nothing
But you don't care
Dear Society,
One day I'll rise above you
The words you speak and the doctrines you preach
Will never be able to reach anyone I care about
Or me
Dear Society,
You've missed out on so much beautiful talent
Wasted it and degraded it
Until now
You won't waste me
You won't waste my friends
Dear Society,
You don't control me
