You don't know
Hands curled into fists and knees pulled up in a protective stance. You were once an infant, you were once learning to stand from your feet and hands. No one ever chooses to be an outcast, to have to protect themselves from the words and the pain. No one ever expects to be the kid that holds a knife to their vein. You're probably judging right now, aren't you? It's a human thing, but how far do you go in assuming and bringing others pain. "I'm gay" is made into more of a big deal then it should be. My friends are deprived from the things they could be. They are put down because they are different, but we aren't all the same, so I don't get it. We aren't all the same, so you don't know them. You take a book that was written in supposedly peace, yet you contradict yourself and attack the weak, like beasts. They are only one person, they can't protect themselves from the hate coming from everyone's beliefs, so I'm speaking up for them, because peace and equality is what I believe. Once upon time, blacks and whites weren't treated equally, so why go through the fight, when you already know the outcome won't end peacefully. Stop the hate and enjoy each other, because life is short and you don't get another (as far as we know).
