You Don't Know Me

I dare them to stare me in my face

The face of open misery and boredom is what they see

What they don't know is everything else

The beginning

The first

The trial

I was faced with

Everything isn't a mystery only curiosity is seldom

I am forced to bow my head in open surrender yet they've got it all wrong

I am stronger than any force they have laid before me

Silently sitting through challenges and turning my cheek

Restraint is something they don't possess

Striking upon everything thing with a magnitude of integrity

Opening my arms to others afflicting times

Yet despite the empathy, they don't understand

That to share the same courtesy is only reserved for one

They are not that one

Taunted in horror they sung a joyous tune

For them not for you

They painted their words in red and plastered them upon every crevice

For to see someone happy is more of a crime, then bless them

For I will never experience the guilt that has been dressing their very souls

I am bare in their eyes a mundane thing

That can be tossed and toiled whenever they please

It must be hard to be so troubled

That to kill another sends satisfaction

An addiction never to be had with

But I am stronger than a measly facade

Fake can mistake an empty crate

But I was woven to carry myself in a way they have not

They didn’t look hard enough

that's why their hunger is madness
