YOU DON'T KNOW ME

YOU DO NOT KNOW ME This mask looks good on me, Quite a difference, between me and what you see, I wish too, I was what you see, But this is who I am, typical me, You all do not know my pain, Perfectly concealed by the smile I feign, Because you judge, it's useless to explain, Even on the brink of collapse, I'll pretend to be fine, Don't be fooled by the smile on my face, It's just a show, to conceal my weakness, Or rather acceptance, to what life throws at us, So I carry on, I keep laughing at my problems, You'll never see my tears, Neither will my complaints ever reach your ears, I'll never come to you, to seek clarity for my fears, Because in myself, I find the strength of a thousand pillars. So go ahead call me fake, you're not wrong, I'm fake, it's my adaptation, its made me last this long, I guess you see now, why it's necessary, the acting, At least there's some strength in acting strong.
