You don't know me like I do

You don't know me like I do because you are not me. You haven't been through my situations or overcome many things. When the going gets tough they say the tough get going. I stand and face the challenge and use the experience to keep on growing. So I head into battle-use my mind as my best defense, when my intelligence fails only then will I use my fists. You don't know that tears give you strength along with working out with weights. You definitely do not work as hard as I all year long waiting for the perfect time. You do not know my heart, its true of how it beats and beats for you. Simplicity is an associate of mine, but complexity will live within me until the end of time. I try sometimes to be oh so perfect even though I know it is not all worth it. I am as tough as nails, but soft as a cookie, smart as a whip, yet dumb as a rookie. By the way, my favorite color is blue and you don't know me like I do.
