You Don't See

We met.

We talked.

We became friends.

Said you loved me.

Couldn't choose between me or girl 1.

We were still friends.

You chose her.

She left you.

We're still friends.

Said you loved me.

Asked me out.

Still was friends.

We dated.

We broke up.

We remained friends.

You left for girl 2.

She left you.

We stayed friends.

You said you loved me.

You left for girl 3.

We were still friends.

You said you were coming back.

You couldn't decide between me or girl 4.

We still were friends.

You chose girl 4.

She's thinking about leaving.

You're upset and start thinking.

Thinking about life and your choices.

You say you should have stayed with me.

You say you still love me.

You're still with her.

You become distant.

You don't know what to do.

Even though your brothers have told you.

You can't seem to see.

Even though I thought you could see me.

I've always been here.

I've never left.

I've always loved you.

I've never hurt you.

I've always done everything you've asked of me.

I've never changed.

I've always tried to get you to see.

I've never misunderstood you.

I've always been right beside you.

I've even showed you that I meant that, no matter what.

You said you see me.

But yet, you say you're alone.

You say everyone has hurt you.

You say you've been used by everyone.

But I've always been here.

I've never hurt you.

I've never used you.

I've always wanted what was best for you.

I've always wanted to make you happy.

I've sworn to everyone listening that I'll be your guardian angel.

And I meant every word.

I wrote all this out.

Not to put you on the spot.

Not to push you.

I wrote this to tell you;

I miss you.

I love you.

I always will.

I can write anything about anything. Being able to write is in my blood. I have a very active imagination, which allows me to imagine a bigger world- than the one we live in.
