You dress weird

I was sick and tired of looking like everyone else

Why must we have different names, personalities, and traits if we're all gonna dress and act the same?

Maybe it's because we all want to be accepted by our peers , like John, Don and Tom

We're all individuals for a reason, so I chose to make a statement

Switched up my style, my wardrobe in particular, the way I spoke, and how I interacted with others

People would comment " You dress weird" , it usually exposed those who lacked creativity

Personality comes with preferences, and my preferences were no longer going to be of someone elses

My style is unique, My style is absurd, My style is "interesting", My style is simply cool..

All reactions from those who look at me out of curiosity, reevaluating themselves

I just feel that it's preposterous for one to strive to be someone other than themself

Try to change before it's too late, because you'll be growing up thinking you're you... When you're actually a mixture of those peers I mentioned after line two ...
