You Drove Me

You drove me to the brink

Never knowing how far I could go

Never knowing that it just took one move

Right or wrong I had to choose

The path, the road, whatever my move

Pushing me and pushing me until

Until, until I could do nothing else but groove

Failure was never an option even when I didn't see the full concoction

All along it was already decided, I just needed to unhide it

Your words, your smile, your frown, your push drove me further

Further into my own success, I just needed to unhide it

I couldn't see my own strength but you

You were the eyes that looked through my soul and told me

I just needed to unhide it

Sometimes I felt like the pressure would cause me to explode

But all it did was implode and cause me to kill the negative vibes and

Trust I just needed to unhide it

Unhide all that I was destined for

Unhide the Glory that I was planned for

Unhide the shining that needed to break through me

I just needed to unhide it, you see
