alone in the dark, my soul sat in despair. years ad years passed by, without anything near. happiness nor pain, just sitting there numb, my heart was very sheltered, protected from falling apart. and then it got let out, and pain struck hard. time after time, place and place in pieces, it fell to the ground. and there was a light, it shone so bright. it picked up the pieces, and held them so tight. it was put back together, that broken heart of mine, and so in love with you I soon fell. to this day, I can still say, you are my light, the one who saved me, i love you and I need you, and I'm glad you're here to stay.
