You gave

You came seeking souls to save. So to my front door, you came.

I was miles and miles away, yet you stayed and forgave my delay.

Oh for that I thank you every day

Now Sunday mornings I'm up early every day

Thanks to you that showed me the way

you gave me scriptures you gave me repentance for the rest of my days

you gave me eternal life and showed me the way.

And so now I thank you and follow your steps
