You Had No Idea
I had no idea that I could feel the pain I had felt
I had no idea that I could love somebody the way I loved you
I had no idea that you would be on my mind all the time
You had no idea, but then again, how could you
I cried tears of sorrow
I cried tears of nothingness
The feeling that I felt in the pit of my stomach ached
You had no idea, but the again, how could you
It hurt me to let you go
It hurt me to listen to your constant lies
It hurt me whenever someone said your name
It hurt to see you
You had no idea, but then again, how could you
I wanted to hate you, but I couldn't
I wanted to forget your very existence, but I couldn't
I wanted to hurt you like you hurt me, but I couldn't
You had no idea, but then again, how could you
You never loved me like you said
You never cared for me like you said
You never thought to think how it would effect me
I had no idea, but then again, how could I
