You Had to Say Goodbye

Dear Ex,

I didn't mean to make you cry; I'm sorry I just had to try. You were never meant to go away, but goodbye you just had to say. Please, consider coming back to me. I'll try to explain and make you see, that you were never supposed to be gone, hidden away from me like the sun. Now blocked from my mind, you were always a precious find. No longer are you here; farther away you go with each passing year. I'm sorry I just had to try; I didn't mean to make you cry.

With Love,

Amber
