you healed the scars he left
He scarred me
Without my consent
Waking up in the middle of the night
To someone inside of me
He scarred me
“You’re a terrible person for making me feel like I raped you”
I sit broken in disbelief
He scarred me
You healed me
Eyes locked
The night cold but my heart warm
You healed me
Butterflies fill my stomach as I hear the words
“Is this okay? Is it okay if I touch you here? If not please let me know”
Asking for consent
You healed me
