You Hurt Me And I Love You

You gave me everything you thought I needed

You hurt me, you didn't understand

You gave me a life you never had

You let me fall, you let me cry, you didn't see

You love me so much it's hard for me not to notice

But you didn't want to see

Your trust is mine, your support unwavering

You hurt me, you won't understand

My happiness is your own, my triumphs yours

The pain inside my heart is greatest

Because you hurt me with your love

And my fear of having it no more
