You & I
You & I, eye to eye, as we cross each other. Deep inside I feel a force that of course no other...could provide, thought my pride had led my heart astray...then you came like the sun after a stormy day. Drained my pain the same way the earth absorbs the rain...just in the nick of time, you saved and changed my frame of mind, from insane to kind, the love I prayed to find, suddenly came to be mine. No longer blind to what lies behind, nor before me.You're eyes alone define the meaning of divine glory.Such a precious gift...sometimes I think, "how could she be all for me, could the good lord...see me in need of sanctuary?" Still it..scares me at times to think of you as some sort of a test.. just to prepare me for the next ex nevertheless, of all blessings in disquise you stand to be the best. I'm you're man, take my hand until we reach our rest.
