For You, I am Calling

One word-change

Some shrink away, others embrace it

Swayed by its tides are all

For me, an opportunity stands waiting

Like a leaf in the wind, I am carried by its pull

Awaiting others to join me

For you, I am calling

Rise up

Be not a ball and chain for society

For this world is now weary

Negligence has settled; it is growing

Without endeavor, honor is in peril

Drink not from the vitality of others

For you, responsibility is calling

Attain conciousness

Keep your eyes not to the ground,

But instead wherever there is movement

Ignore not the passerby whose earnest gaze and smile wish to greet you

The world in not limited to only a few persons

Society has gone into hiding

For you, attention is calling

Fear not

The trials of this life are experienced by all

Beside you, we share your suffering

And yet, there are ways out of anguish

It is your duty to find them

Do not give up on life, for you will soon be better off

For you, strength is calling

Stand fast

Morality is quickly fading

Let not heinous things take ahold

Fight back its grip

It is time to take back justice

For this world needs decency

For all of us, change is calling
