For You, I'll Be

When I look into your eyes,

I see a lot more than everyone else sees.

To me, you are not just another person…

You are everything in this world and then some.

Before you, I was lost…

I did not know where I wanted to go in life.

It was as if I was stuck on repeat,

And everything continued to get worse and worse.

Then you came into my life

And I immediately found reason for everything.

Along with that, I regained happiness

And found a permanent smile on my face.

You give me this incredible feeling,

A feeling I have not felt in years.

I get a tingling feeling that runs through my arms and legs,

And have constant butterflies deep in the bottom of my stomach.

I wish I knew how to tell you how I felt.

I wish I could show you how amazing you make me feel.

But I am scared you do not feel the same,

And I do not want to ruin our friendship…

If given the chance,

I would be the greatest thing you ever had.

I would love you and cherish every moment with you,

While always being there for you through thick and thin.

I would be there to hold you when you are sick

And I will be there to hold your hand when you get scared.

You see, there is not a thing I would not do for you,

Because you are the greatest thing that has ever happened to me.

Up to this point, I have been extremely passive,

I have not been wanting to force the issue.

The next time I see you, however, that will change

Because I am finally going to grab you by the hand and kiss you.

I have realized that as each day passes,

I fall for you that much more.

I have never wanted someone, or something, as bad as I want you…

That is why I will fight for you until my dream comes true and I can finally call you my boo..
