You Inspired Me, Daddy

My daddy told me I was free,
My daddy told me I was loved,
My daddy told me I was strong,
How can I tell my daddy I have been torn?

Trust was misued,
Who was the power has been said,
How can I tell my daddy I am not my own?

We all suffered, our souls get crushed.
But I never felt such that pain,
Until my soul left my body for that moment,
and my mind got black,
and my heart went down,
and my dignity disappear,
How can I tell my daddy all that I feel?

Strong?  Not enough.
Loud? Not enough.
Begged? Not enough.
How can I tell my daddy I'm not enough?

Never before I though
Such monstrosity could be done,
Never before I though
All my worth would be gone,
But I told my daddy all I could feel,
But I told my daddy, and he counted all my tears.

Now I know the only who defines me is myself
, and I have found strength deep within me.
I have praise the Lord.
I have learned from the world.
I have learned from my daddy there is still hope.
