You just don’t


You just don’t get it 

And it’s something I can no longer teach you. 

Not because I stopped trying, but because you did. 

I have no connection, I’m holding on by a thin wire,

and every day I’m contemplating falling even if it hurts, 

Because I believe once I fall, I will heal. 

And once I heal, I will be better than I was before
