You know

You know I've been busy these days

You know wchich are my time-consuming activities

you know that I don't watch Netflix and memes every day after school with anything else to work on

because you know that I'm capable of doing more than that

You know I sleep five hours at night

-and two more during classes-

You know that our school tuition is equivalent to a year's worth of groceries

and that all the investment ends up in a piece of paper

You know how much I love to bake

but you also know that I couldn't make my grandma's birthday cake

because I had an exam on monday!

But of course, that's more important

You've been taught that a human's purpose is to reach happiness

But how can I even approach it if I'm restricted to do what I like to do?

What they don't teach us is to prioritize our actions

To differ what is truly important from what is irrelevant

You know that I want to change the world

and that everybody's totally capable of

But if taking it for granted becomes your pursue

you'll realize that who makes the step is you
