You Know Not What Love Is.

from Oxford Languages: love (noun.)

1. an intense feeling of deep affection

2. a great interest/pleasure in something.

----------------------------------------------------

The lights are too bright.

Cameras flash.

I know what love is! I know goodness! In fact, I love--

Do not speak of love.

when you know not what love is.

Love is--

Is it love, dear adult, when you think you know what is best for the country?

Is it love, dear adult, when you think your God is better than the others?

IS IT LOVE, dear adult, when you segregate the blue and the red, the black and the white, the new and the old?

"Mother, will I ever fall in love?" I asked.

Why?

Why do we love to hate?
