You Know Who You Are

If they got a twang they say momma. If they broke, like a record they say momma. They are too proud. They are scribes, with trickling pens and trembling men. They claim, to have been plucked a little too early. Have it all where it don't count, and go chunky dunkin' in the sun. Raising their wrists in triumph, bellowing into the abyss. These white girls, do the most. Do they say momma because of love? Do they say momma to avoid truth? Secrets are vital to white women. So I will never know. I do know, whatever white girls say goes.
