You laughed, You Devil

Sometimes you get confused and the things that you thought were, aren’t. And there I was, with my smile upside down and my eyebrows on my chin. A top hat covered the crown of my head. I saw you in the fog, by the little house, way down there. You were cold with frost on your nose. I tried to warm you but could not make it to where you were. I cried and cried and you laughed at my fear. Laughed with your mouth open wide, showing all your fangs. You kissed my lips against my will and sucked out my soul. How dare you? My body shivered and grew cold. And now I feel permanently stuck. But still I am eager to save you. That is why I suffer so much. By my own hand. I am you. Unfortunately
